Use of Donations
- Program Support: Donations are directed toward helping low-income seniors access assisted living during temporary financial gaps, including Medicaid processing delays.
- Operational Costs: Administrative and operational expenses are managed carefully to support program delivery and organizational sustainability.
- Responsible Growth: As the Foundation grows, expenses are evaluated regularly to ensure alignment with our mission and community needs.
Governance & Oversight
Golden Gap Foundation is overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors that provides governance, strategic guidance, and fiduciary oversight. Board members serve without compensation and are committed to ethical leadership and accountability.
The Board reviews organizational performance, financial practices, and policies to ensure the Foundation operates in accordance with nonprofit best practices.
Legal & Compliance Status
- Nonprofit Registration: Golden Gap Foundation is a registered nonprofit organization operating in compliance with applicable state and federal requirements.
- Tax Deductibility: Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Donors receive acknowledgment for all donations.
- Policies & Controls: We maintain written policies addressing conflicts of interest, financial controls, and ethical conduct.
Measuring Impact
As programs are implemented, we track outcomes such as the number of seniors supported, duration of assistance, and successful placement into assisted living. Summary information will be shared as it becomes available.
