About Golden Gap Foundation
Bridging the financial gap so Utah’s low-income seniors can access safe, dignified long-term care.
Our Mission
Golden Gap Foundation helps underrepresented seniors in Utah access the assisted living and memory care they need to live with dignity. Many seniors qualify for Medicaid’s New Choices Waiver but face a mandatory private-pay period before coverage begins. That gap forces difficult choices—delayed hospital discharges, unsafe living conditions, or even homelessness. We exist to close that gap through targeted financial support, community coordination, donated goods, and volunteer partnerships.
Our promise: to ensure every senior can transition to safe, stable care with dignity—regardless of income.
